Branding Guidelines

How to properly use the OGS (Oldgate Studios)
Logos and Wordmarks.

When customizing our wordmark we allow any color(s) that you can think of, But when using images in the background of our words we have rules that you must follow.

  1. Using images that are seen as hate symbols are Strictly Forbidden
  2. The use of images to convey a message that is not held by OGS, this could be conveying support for a country or political party. edits-to-wordmark.png

In written material, it is more relaxed, but we still have rules.

  1. Saying or Insinuating that OGS endorses the words and or actions of a particular person, group, or company when we fervently stand against it.
  2. Spreading misinformation, this could be as small as saying "OGS personnel are required to kick every chicken that they come across" or something far more serious as saying "OGS is full of kid-diddling NAZIs."

The use of OGS branding, That is NOT customization of logos or wordmarks.

  1. You can use OGS Branding to make true factual statements about OGS.
  2. Your intended use qualifies as nominative fair use of the OGS Branding, i.e., merely identifying that you are talking about OGS in a text, without suggesting sponsorship or endorsement.
  3. You can use OGS Branding to describe or advertise your services or products relating to OGS in a way that is not misleading.
  4. You can use OGS Branding to describe OGS in articles, titles, or blog posts.
  5. You can make t-shirts, desktop wallpapers, caps, or other merchandise with OGS Branding for non-commercial usage.
  6. You can also make merchandise with OGS Branding for commercial usage. In case of commercial usage, we recommend that you truthfully advertise to customers which part of the selling price, if any, will be donated to OGS or an OGS-supported charity. See our donations page for more information on how to donate to OGS.
