The character Ojer was used as an easter egg for the oldgate.org error 404 page. The original rendition was created in MS Paint on April 24, 2022. She did not have a name until September 2022 when They were re-mastered to become the official masscot of Oldgate Studios. During this time the name Ojer was picked to be Tongue-in-cheek, With the character having the letter O as a head. But it was also due to the fact that the creator was quote "thinking about Shrek."
